Join the members of First Lutheran in educating, identifying and responding to critical local, state, national and global peace and justice issues. Consider volunteer and educational opportunities to become more involved in these efforts. The Board of Church in Society at First Lutheran provides the following administrative and spiritual support, such as notifying church members of social justice issues that require prayers and advocacy action and organizing Sunday Forums focusing on ELCA supported social justice issues. The board is guided by ELCA Social Statements and materials.
