Christian Education is at the very heart of the church, with people of all ages nurturing faith and growing in commitment to discipleship. From September to May, various educational opportunities are offered, so grab a cup of coffee, greet others in fellowship, and attend one of the topical discussions or studies each Sunday. Large group forums are typically in the Parish Hall, and more interactive faith formation/small group discussions in the Adult Ed room (next to the nursery).
Milestone Sundays for Children Along with their parents, First Lutheran congregation makes promises to each child at their baptism: that the Holy Scriptures be placed in their hands so they might hear and know the stories of God’s great love for them. Each fall FLC lovingly gives Bibles and hymnals to children reaching a milestone age.
