We, at First Lutheran Church, invite you to come away from the busyness of your lives to be fed with the promises of God’s love, grace and forgiveness and then be sent to be Christ’s presence in the world wherever life takes you.

We invite you to come, taste and see, hear and feel how God can make a difference in your life and through you and all of us together make a difference in the world.

We are the church building found between the city and “the sea”; we sit between God’s magnificent creation of Lake Superior (Gichi Gami) and the human creation of this city on the hillside. We seek to be stewards of God’s good creation and creators of justice for all God’s people.
