Words to Ponder:

How are you being called to leave your nets behind? What new life awaits you when you do?

Remember to have a piece or loaf a bread available to take part in Food for the Journey during worship.

Sunday Forum: FLC Education Forum - featuring Stephan Witherspoon, Duluth NAACP

Sunday, January 24 at 11:15 a.m. via zoom

Stephan Witherspoon is a lifelong resident of Duluth, and is eager to engage with the FLC congregation in our commitment to growing in understanding of racism, individually and systemically.  He will speak of his personal experience, the ongoing realities for people of color in our community, and how we can best be affirmative allies. All are welcome, but you do need to preregister for the zoom information.

Stephan is most interested in speaking to what we want/need to know, and you are encouraged to send your questions in advance to annbeck@flcduluth.org. As one of the Lifelong Learning Ministry Team members said, “This is an opportunity to think with humility and curiosity, as we are in such a early stage of learning. What would our 10-year-old self want to ask Stephan?”
