June 20, 2021 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

The Interfaith Committee for Migrant Justice will host an observance of global migrations on Sunday afternoon, June 20, at 1:30pm. Speakers with experience in various parts of the world will share migration stories.

According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the number of persons forcibly displaced from home is at an all time high. At the end 2019, there were 26.0 million refugees in the world — the highest ever seen; 45.7 million internally displaced people; and 4.2 million asylum-seekers. Why do people leave the places they have called home? Where do they go? Come and learn something of these journeys.
