Despite the difficult situation around our country and within it, God continues to do His work. The morale and psychological state of very many parishioners is rather difficult to explain; one can compare this with the fact that a person has fallen into a large labyrinth and does not yet know where to go and whether there is a way out of it at all. South Sudan Leadership & Community Development
In our last report, the biggest challenge going forward was the outbreak of Covid in the entire nation of Uganda and resultant restrictions on travel and gatherings in the settlements. During July tragically one of the most respected leaders of the refugees, Pastor Abraham, died of Covid. His family and the entire settlement where he lived were understandably traumatized. However, no one else got sick and all the farming and other co-ops are again fully functioning.

Prayer requests from Los Ranchos
They ask us to pray for the work of scholarship students, good health for community members, and fewer cases of COVID19 in their country. For our El Salvador coordinator, Julieta, who had surgery recently, and for those who are suffering from COVID in the community.
They pray for faith, hope, and love, and many blessings from God for our church community.
